We are FIRST Team 1305, Near North Student Robotics Initiative, ICE3. 

For over 20 years, a group of volunteers have created a safe place where adolescents who love Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts or Mathematics (STEAM) can feel like they belong. None of which would be possible without the generous support of our sponsors.

There are many reasons why our sponsors choose to get involved. 

Here are 4 of the most common reasons:

Creating Skilled Workers: Every student who joins our team graduates with enhanced skills and confidence, often reaching higher success in their post-secondary education. Our sponsors value the collaboration with our team, often recruiting our students for summer roles due to their advanced capabilities & work ethics. 

Certified Non-Profit Organization: We are a registered charity under the name of "North Bay & District Student Robotics". A charitable receipt can be provided as required. 100% of the funds raised are used to support local robotics & STEAM initiatives for students in our community. The officials of the charity are all volunteers and are the management mentors of FIRST Team 1305.

Marketing: Our sponsors enjoy advertising through many of our events. This includes multiple events throughout Ontario, & our local robotics competition at Nipissing University where 900+ participants and spectators are in attendance.
